Ukrainian forces strike Russian drone base in Donetsk

Ukrainian forces struck a Russian drone base in Donetsk on October 4 and overnight into October 5, targeting storage, preparation, and launch sites for attack drones, according to the General Staff. The strikes also hit a Russian communications hub near Donetsk, a command post and drone warehouse near Berdiansk, and a repair unit near Liubymivka in Zaporizhzhia region. Troop concentration areas were targeted near Komysh-Zoria, Uspenka, and Donetsk. The operation aims to reduce Russia's ability to use drones against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. Separately, Ukraine has disabled over 51% of Russian oil refining capacity, including plants in Moscow, Yaroslavl, and Perm.
