Zelensky: Russia escalates daily, Ukraine responds
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is intensifying its attacks daily, expressing shock at what he called Russia's "brutal desire" to escalate the conflict, citing strikes on postal warehouses and other civilian infrastructure. Zelensky said Ukraine has responded to Russian attacks, including strikes on Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta warehouses, with a "worthy response" targeting Wildberries. He warned that Russia's strikes on bridges and data centers affect civilians, noting mobile communications are used in Moscow as well. Zelensky dismissed the idea that simply asking Putin to end the war would work, asserting that Russia wants constant escalation. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed its strikes on Kyiv and other cities were retaliation for Ukrainian actions and threatened further attacks on military and industrial facilities.
