Kyiv launches 18 shuttle trains between river banks: schedule
Kyiv is launching 18 additional shuttle train services between the right and left banks of the Dnipro River to ease commuter travel during difficult bridge traffic. The extra trains will run on the Vydubychi-Darnytsia route. The additional shuttle services are scheduled from October 5 to 9 during peak morning hours (6:00-9:00) and evening hours (16:00-21:00), with intermediate stops at Bereznyaky station. Boarding will occur on track 3 at Vydubychi and tracks 1 or 2 at Darnytsia, with passengers advised to listen for station announcements. Regular commuter and regional trains to Nizhyn, Hrebinka, Konotop, and Slavutych also stop at these stations, providing up to 6 crossings per hour during peak times. Tickets are available via the Ukrzaliznytsia app, following recent schedule changes and temporary service suspensions on the ring railway in late September.
