nv.ua (Ukrainian) —

Russian forces attacked a communications company building in central Dnipro on the morning of October 4, according to regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha. A large fire broke out at the site, and information about casualties is being established. Local Telegram channel Dnipro Operatyvnyi reported that a rocket-propelled drone struck the building of Ukrtelecom, Ukraine's largest fixed-line operator and a leading internet provider. The attack is part of a series of recent Russian strikes on telecommunications infrastructure. Earlier strikes have severely damaged data centers in Kyiv, including the Parkovyi facility, which fully ceased operations. At least six data centers were hit between September 23 and 28, and the government has allocated 518.3 million hryvnias for backup information systems.
