Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced Germany has provided a major aid package exceeding 1 billion euros following talks with Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Kyiv on Sunday. Zelensky highlighted 15 signed industrial agreements, a successful test of the German-Ukrainian SPYS interceptor drone, and two successful military operations, including restoring over 700 kilometers of territory. He also addressed Russia's strikes on infrastructure, sanctions policy, and a budget deficit of around 4 billion euros. Zelensky criticized Russian attacks on internet and mobile networks, comparing Putin to a fish wanting to isolate people in an aquarium. He responded to domestic critics by urging against panic and emphasized Ukraine must not bend to Russia.
