Russian drone debris hits Kyiv school grounds and parked car
On the morning of October 4, debris from a Russian drone fell on a parked car and the open grounds of a school in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Emergency services were dispatched to both locations. Klitschko reported the car incident at 12:16 and the school incident at 12:18. Drone fragments were also found in a courtyard in the Dniprovskyi district. Media reports suggest the debris may be from a "Geran-5" drone containing a Taiwanese-made component. The attack also damaged a heating main in the Desnianskyi district, temporarily cutting hot water, and struck the Pivnichnyi Bridge, damaging the roadway. Ukraine's air defense intercepted 125 of 135 Russian aerial targets overnight.
