Russia tells diplomats to leave Kyiv as strikes kill six across Ukraine
Russia warned foreign diplomats and nationals to leave Kyiv on Saturday, vowing continued targeted strikes on the Ukrainian capital after an attack damaged the Northern Bridge, as Ukrainian authorities reported six deaths nationwide. The Russian foreign ministry framed the strikes as retaliation for Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilians and infrastructure, urging foreigners to avoid Ukraine and warning of "mortal danger." Kyiv mayor Vitalii Klitschko said two people were wounded in the bridge attack, which disrupted traffic. Russian strikes on Kharkiv killed five people and wounded over 40, while a drone attack in Izyum wounded three and a civilian cargo ship strike in Odesa killed a sailor. Moldovan President Maia Sandu condemned Russian airspace incursions, saying the war was "dangerously reaching" her country.
