Kyiv adds 18 City Express trains between banks during peak hours
Ukrzaliznitsa has scheduled 18 additional Kyiv City Express shuttle trips between Kyiv's right and left banks from October 5 to 9 due to complicated traffic on the capital's bridges. The extra trains will run during peak hours. The additional trains will operate on the Vydubychi – Darnytsia – Vydubychi route from 06:00 to 09:00 and 16:00 to 21:00, also stopping at Bereznyaki station. Boarding and alighting at Vydubychi will occur on track three, and at Darnytsia on tracks one or two. Russia attacked the Southern Bridge with drones on October 1-2 and struck the Northern Bridge on October 3-4, injuring two people. Commuters can also use suburban and regional trains to and from Nizhyn, Hrebinka, Konotop, and Slavutych, with up to six trains running between the banks during peak hours.
