nv.ua (Ukrainian) —

Ukraine is ready to participate in a trilateral technical-level meeting with the US and Russia, which Washington has proposed to hold by the end of October, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky stated Kyiv's readiness during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, confirming the US has proposed the meeting and that Ukraine is open to hosting it in the UAE or another country suggested by the American side. He noted Kyiv is awaiting Russia's response. The potential meeting, first reported by The Atlantic on September 29, would address a partial ceasefire, specifically mutual strikes on energy infrastructure. Zelensky previously discussed this possible trilateral meeting in an Axios interview on September 23.
