Russian strike on Kharkiv kills one, injures eight

A Russian strike on the Industrialnyi district of Kharkiv on the evening of October 4 killed one person and injured eight others, with residential buildings and vehicles damaged. The attack involved three "Banderoly" munitions that hit near apartment blocks, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov. Windows were blown out in five high-rise buildings, and roofs were damaged. One injured person is in very serious condition, and three were hospitalized, including a police officer. The deceased was a man riding in a car with a woman and a Spitz dog; the woman is alive but in intensive care. Rescue and search operations are ongoing, with about ten apartment buildings damaged and an administrative building and cars on fire.
