Russian attacks on Kyiv and Kharkiv kill one, injure another

On the night of October 4, Russia launched new attacks on Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv and the Kharkiv region, targeting civilian infrastructure and private homes, resulting in deaths and injuries. In the village of Shestakovo, a drone strike hit a civilian car, killing a 35-year-old woman and injuring a 39-year-old man. In Kyiv, debris caused fires in residential and non-residential buildings, while Izium was hit by large-caliber rockets, damaging private houses and an enterprise. The attacks also involved drones and guided bombs over several regions, including Chernihiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia. No casualties were reported in Izium, and authorities are continuing to assess the damage.
