Russia Strikes Kyiv Bridge for Third Day, Warns Foreigners to Leave
Russia struck one of Kyiv's key bridges for the third consecutive day, wounding two people and prompting Moscow to warn foreigners and diplomats to leave the Ukrainian capital. The attack on the North Bridge damaged the roadway and trolleybus cables, causing major morning traffic disruptions. Russia's foreign ministry said further attacks are coming, noting with concern that some are disregarding the warnings and exposing themselves to mortal danger. Kyiv Mayor Vitalij Klitsjko confirmed the damage, while Russia's defense ministry claimed the bridge is used for troop movements and military logistics. Three of Kyiv's six road bridges over the Dnipro River are now fully or partially closed. Moldova's prime minister reported five Russian weapons exploded on Moldovan territory, while Ukraine's president said Kyiv will target Russian oil refineries in response to intensified attacks.
