Ukraine strikes Russian drone launch site, command post, and river crossing

rbc.ua (Russian) —

Ukraine's defense forces struck multiple Russian military targets on October 2 and overnight into October 3, including a drone launch site, a command post, and a crossing point. In the Donetsk region, a facility for storing, preparing, and launching attack drones was hit, aiming to reduce Russia's ability to use drones against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. A command post was also struck near Novaya Tavolzhanka in Russia's Belgorod region, and a crossing over the Mokri Yaly River was targeted near Novotshchevatoye. Additional strikes hit a repair base near Gromovka in the Kherson region and a logistics depot near Voznesenovka in Belgorod. These follow recent Ukrainian attacks on Russia's largest European oil storage facility near Samara on October 2 and other targets in late September.
