pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) struck two Russian fighter jets, a Su-35 and a Su-34, in a drone attack on the Khanskaya airbase in Russia's Adygea region overnight on October 4. The aircraft have a combined value of over $150 million. The SBU stated the attack was carried out by drones that traveled about 500 kilometers to the target, with the operation executed by the Alpha special operations center. Both aircraft are carriers of guided aerial bombs used by Russia at the front line and against Ukrainian cities. The Su-35 is a multirole fighter with an export value of about $100 million, while the Su-34 fighter-bomber is valued at around $50 million. This follows recent Ukrainian strikes on Russian aircraft, including a Tu-95MS bomber in Engels and another Su-34 in Akhtubinsk.
