Ukraine's drone forces hit 456 Russian energy targets in three months
Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck 456 energy facilities in Russia and Russian-occupied territories over three months, from July 6 to October 3, 2026, according to commander Robert Brovdi. The strikes included 44 energy hubs in Crimea, southern and eastern occupied territories during the "Crimean Guillotine off" operation. In the last 10 days, 17 targets were hit in Crimea, 14 in occupied Donetsk, 5 in occupied Luhansk, 6 in occupied Zaporizhzhia, and one each in Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Targets ranged from high-voltage substations (500 kV, 330 kV, 220 kV) to smaller facilities, with some struck repeatedly. Multiple Ukrainian drone brigades participated, including the 414th, 412th, 9th, 20th, 413th, 429th, and 427th.
