Ukraine's Zelensky unveils FP-9 missile, vows more strikes on Russian refineries
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the domestically produced FP-9 ballistic missile, capable of reaching Moscow, will be ready by autumn, urging manufacturer Fire Point to complete work on the long-range model. Zelensky stated that seeking compromises with Russia is a waste of time, as Putin will always impose new conditions. He also pledged to intensify attacks on Russian oil refineries in response to Moscow's new doctrine targeting civilian infrastructure. Ukraine reported downing 131 of 157 Russian drones overnight, while Russia admitted striking Kyiv's Severny bridge. Moldova accused Russia of violating its airspace, and reports emerged of a potential US-brokered peace deal involving a multibillion-dollar oil agreement with Russian company Lukoil.
