Russian strike hits key Kyiv bridge for third day, Russia warns foreigners to leave
A Russian attack hit one of Kyiv's most important bridges for the third consecutive day, wounding two people and damaging the roadway and trolleybus cables, according to Mayor Vitalij Klitsjko. Russia has warned foreigners and diplomats to leave the Ukrainian capital, citing further attacks to come. The strike on the North Bridge over the Dnipro River caused major morning traffic disruptions. Russia's defense ministry confirmed the attack, claiming the bridge is used for troop movements and military logistics. The recent strikes have targeted critical infrastructure, leaving three of Kyiv's six road bridges fully or partially closed. Russia issued a similar warning in May, but Western leaders have defied it to show solidarity. Elsewhere, at least six people were killed in Ukraine, including five in Kharkiv, while Moldova's prime minister reported Russian weapons exploding on its territory.
