A Russian drone struck the Pivnichnyi (North) Bridge in Kyiv on Sunday, injuring two people, according to Mayor Vitaly Klitschko. The attack occurred during German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's visit to the Ukrainian capital. Video shared by President Volodymyr Zelensky showed the bridge with heavy vehicle traffic at the time of the strike. Zelensky condemned the attack, noting the bridge had also been hit on Saturday and the South Bridge on Friday. Merz promised further economic support and urged Russia to end the war, announcing €1 billion in military aid and €350 million for energy repairs. Four air raid alerts sounded across Kyiv during the morning.
