Russian missile attack on Kharkiv kills one, wounds six

corriere.it (Italian) —

One person was killed and six injured in a double Russian missile attack on Kharkiv's industrial district on Monday, Ukrainian officials reported, with fires breaking out at an administrative building and vehicles. The attack damaged at least ten residential buildings, and search operations for additional victims are ongoing. Russia has increased use of Banderol missiles, which combine cruise missile and jet drone features, making them difficult for Ukrainian air defenses to intercept. Separately, a Russian drone struck an energy facility in the Poltava region, leaving about 22,000 people without power, with no casualties reported. This follows a similar drone attack on an energy plant in the Lubny district two days earlier that affected 6,000 residents.
