Ukraine's SBU destroys two Russian fighter jets in Adygea
Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) struck two Russian fighter jets, a Su-35 and a Su-34, at the Khanskaya military airfield in Russia's Republic of Adygea, according to the agency's press center. The attack was carried out overnight by drones from the SBU's "Alpha" special operations center, targeting targets approximately 500 kilometers away. The strike also hit an ammunition depot at the airfield, with both aircraft being carriers of guided aerial bombs used against Ukrainian cities and front-line positions. The Su-35 is valued at around $100 million and the Su-34 at roughly $50 million. This operation is part of a series of recent Ukrainian strikes on Russian military infrastructure, including drone storage sites in Oryol and oil facilities in Samara and Volgograd regions.
