Ukrzaliznytsia adds 18 Kyiv City Express shuttles between Kyiv's banks from October 5

nv.ua (Ukrainian) —

Ukrzaliznytsia will launch 18 additional Kyiv City Express shuttle trains from October 5 to improve connections between Kyiv's right and left banks. The service aims to ease commutes amid disrupted city bridge traffic. The shuttles will run on the Vydubychi-Darnytsia route from October 5-9 during peak hours, 6:00-9:00 and 16:00-21:00, stopping at Bereznyaky station. Boarding at Vydubychi will be on track three, at Darnytsia on tracks one or two. The move follows the closure of the Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge on October 2 after Russian drone strikes damaged its supports, causing a transport collapse. The Pivnichnyi (Northern) Bridge was also attacked by drones on October 3 and 4.
