Zelensky: Russia holds up to 700 ballistic missiles, produces 130-140 monthly
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia has a reserve of up to 700 ballistic missiles and several thousand other missiles, producing approximately 130-140 ballistic missiles monthly. Zelensky made the remarks during a joint press conference in Kyiv with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. He emphasized that countering Russian missile production requires sanctions, striking production and storage sites, and cutting supply chains for weapon components. Zelensky noted Russia is shifting from quantity to quality in attacks, increasing the share of jet-powered Shahed drones. He said Ukrainian F-16 fighters intercept about 50-55% of such drones, with the figure reaching 60% in some cases.
