Ukraine disables over half of Russia's oil refining capacity

pravda.com.ua (Russian) —

Ukraine has disabled more than 51% of Russia's oil refining capacity through long-range strikes, according to Ukraine's Defense Ministry. The ministry also reports a threefold increase in the production of strike drones this year. Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara stated that recent deep strikes by Ukrainian security and defense forces systematically targeted refineries including Moscow, Yaroslavl, KINEF, Ust-Luga, Perm, Ilsky, Saratov, and Syzran. He described the damage as a significant blow to Russia's economy and military capability. Khmara emphasized that long-range strike drones are a ministry priority, allowing attacks deep inside Russian territory. He said production and procurement have tripled this year and will continue to grow, as Ukraine's deep strikes aim to shift the war onto Russian soil.
