Ukraine's Defense Forces struck multiple Russian military targets on October 4 and overnight into October 5, including a drone storage, preparation, and launch site in occupied Donetsk, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strikes also hit a Russian communications hub in the Donetsk area, a command post and drone warehouse near Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia region, and a repair unit near Liubymivka. Ukrainian forces additionally targeted concentrations of Russian personnel in Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions. These systematic strikes aim to reduce Russia's ability to use attack drones against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. Previous operations included hitting a Buk-M3 air defense system, a drone launch base, and an electronic warfare station on October 4, as well as strikes on Iskander missile positions in Bryansk region and a synthetic rubber plant in Voronezh used for missile fuel production.
