Zelensky hints at Ukrainian strikes on Moscow's mobile networks
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin seeks constant escalation of the war and continues striking data centers and mobile communications, hinting at potential Ukrainian strikes on Russia's digital infrastructure, including in Moscow. Zelensky questioned how Putin can attack mobile networks used by ordinary people not only in Kyiv and Ukraine but also in Moscow, expressing surprise at Russia's daily desire to escalate. He emphasized that simply asking Putin to end the war will not work, as the Russian leader wants permanent escalation. Zelensky also praised Kharkiv residents for resisting Russian attempts to destabilize the city despite the close proximity of enemy forces, calling Kharkiv a symbolic first capital of Ukraine that defeated Putin. Ukraine recently allocated 518.3 million hryvnias to strengthen backup information systems after Russian attacks.
