Russian strike on Gostomel injures four, including a child
Russian forces struck Gostomel in Kyiv Oblast overnight on October 3, injuring four people, including a child, according to the State Emergency Service. Fires at two warehouse facilities in the Bucha district were extinguished, and debris removal is ongoing. Kyiv regional administration head Timur Tkachenko reported no fatalities, with two people sustaining minor injuries: a man with head burns and a woman with a bruised left knee and acute stress reaction. The attack is part of ongoing Russian strikes on the Kyiv region. This follows a massive Russian aerial assault on Kyiv and the region on September 30, which targeted energy infrastructure and a supermarket, killing five people including a 14-year-old boy in Vyshhorod. Damage was also recorded in Bucha and Obukhov districts.
