Russian drones strike Kyiv and Odesa overnight, injuring four

On the night of Saturday, October 3, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 157 Shahed-type strike drones, 45 of which were jet-powered, along with Gerbera and Parody imitation drones, according to Ukraine's Air Force. Air defense destroyed 131 Russian drones. The attack resulted in strikes at 12 locations and debris falls at five sites. In the morning, Russian troops also struck the Odesa region with Banderol-type loitering munitions, with consequences still being clarified. Earlier reports indicated a jet drone hit the Northern Bridge in Kyiv, damaging road surface and contact networks, with traffic toward the right bank blocked. Overnight, Russian forces attacked Gostomel in Kyiv region, injuring four people, including a child.
