Russian drone strikes on Izium injure five

On Saturday, October 3, Russian forces launched a series of drone strikes on Izium in Kharkiv Oblast, injuring five people, according to the Izium City Military Administration. The attacks occurred around 7:40 a.m. in several districts. A drone hit a warehouse at a processing enterprise near the Izium Instrument-Making Plant, causing a fire, while another damaged a building and equipment in the lower city, plus windows and roofs of an apartment block. A third drone struck a private home in the southwest, sparking a blaze. Authorities are still assessing the full extent of the damage. Separately, in Kyiv that morning, a Russian drone struck the Pivnichnyi Bridge, damaging the roadway and trolleybus network, with traffic now restricted.
