Russia strikes Kyiv's Pivnichnyi Bridge, halting traffic

Russia struck the Pivnichnyi (Northern) Bridge in Kyiv during an air raid alert, damaging the roadway and trolleybus network. Traffic across the bridge has been halted. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the strike, reporting damage to the road surface and contact wires. Bus routes 21, 73, 101, 114 and trolleybuses 29, 30, 31, 47 are delayed. Witnesses claim a Russian drone was used, though this is unconfirmed. The bridge is a key artery linking Obolon with Troieshchyna and other districts. This is the first direct hit on the bridge since the full-scale war began, following recent attacks that closed the Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge.
