Ukrainian drone attack kills two near Moscow, hits key fuel depot
A Ukrainian drone attack killed two people and injured several others in the Moscow region early Tuesday, according to regional governor Andrei Vorobyov, as Russia reported downing most of 650 drones launched toward the capital. The attack set fire to a warehouse in Litvinovo and struck the Volodarskaya oil base near Konstantinovo, about 40 kilometers from Moscow. The facility, which stores and pipelines gasoline, aviation fuel, and diesel, supplies three major Moscow airports. This marks the second-largest drone assault on Moscow in recent months, according to state agency TASS. The attack follows Russian warnings to intensify strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure after President Zelensky pledged more attacks on Russian refineries.
