Russian drone strikes hit Zaporizhzhia bridge and Kyiv school
Russia struck a bridge over the Dnipro River in Zaporizhzhia with a drone on Tuesday morning, while a drone debris strike caused a fire on a school roof in Kyiv's Obolon district. Two men were hospitalized with light injuries in Zaporizhzhia, and bridge traffic was temporarily halted. In Kyiv, air raid alerts were triggered due to drone attack threats, with debris falling on a lyceum on the right bank. Rescue workers responded to the fire. The previous evening, Russia also attacked Kyiv, damaging three cars in a residential courtyard, with no casualties reported. Ukrainian and European officials, citing Financial Times, expect Russia to intensify attacks on major cities including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Lviv as cold weather approaches, potentially attempting to isolate large urban centers from the rest of the country.
