Drone attack on Moscow region kills one, injures six

A Ukrainian drone attack on the Moscow region on October 6 killed one person and injured six others, according to Governor Andrei Vorobyov. Russian air defenses destroyed or suppressed 185 drones across 16 municipalities. The attack damaged 10 private homes and two cars in Istra, with additional damage reported in Pokrovskoye, Lobanovo, and Barybino. A 20-year-old man was killed in Radumlya. Six people were hospitalized or treated for injuries, including shrapnel wounds. The Moscow region faced a massive assault with 650 drones launched, most intercepted at long range. Separately, six people were injured in Kursk when drone debris hit a bus stop.
