Peskov: Russia will keep striking Ukraine until it controls all of Donbas

unian.net (Russian) —

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia views strikes on Ukraine as the only way to achieve its interests and will not stop until it captures the entire Donbas region. Peskov claimed President Vladimir Putin "wants peace" but said Russia will continue to fight "with full force" until peaceful means become possible. He also threatened that those planning a "crushing blow" against Russia will pay a price. The statement follows Russian attacks on Kyiv's Northern Bridge and a telecom company in Dnipro on October 4. ISW analysts note Russia began its winter strike campaign on Ukrainian energy infrastructure earlier than in previous years.
