Ukraine reopens Moldova border checkpoint after Russian drone incident

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Ukraine's State Border Guard Service has resumed operations at the Palanca–Maiaky–Udobne checkpoint on the border with Moldova after suspending them earlier on October 5. The checkpoint resumed standard operations following an incident where a ricocheted projectile from Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure struck a passenger bus and a dispatcher booth, damaging the vehicle and lightly injuring a border guard. On October 3, Moldova's airspace monitoring system detected five drones and later three missiles and two drones, with debris falling in four districts, amid Russia's massive morning attack on Ukraine.
