Witkoff and Kushner's Russia visit was their eighth, says Ushakov

They held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin the same day. The meeting marked another stage in Russian-American dialogue on Ukraine and bilateral relations. Witkoff and Kushner left Moscow carrying a notebook from the Kremlin containing handwritten notes made during their conversation with Putin.
