Russian attack on Odesa kills one, injures five

A Russian attack on the Odesa province in southern Ukraine killed at least one person and injured five others, according to local authorities. Governor Oleg Kiper said Russian troops struck civilian facilities, with a child among the injured, and caused material damage to residential buildings. Ukraine's Air Force reported intercepting 103 of 121 drones and one missile, though impacts occurred at 15 locations. Russia's Defense Ministry said the strikes targeted logistics centers, ships, and port and energy infrastructure, claiming a vessel carrying Western-made weapons was hit. Rescue teams are providing assistance to victims.
