Russian drone strikes SBU headquarters in Kyiv

A Russian drone struck the headquarters of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Kyiv on Friday, September 4, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with casualties reported. Zelenskyy said the drone was aimed directly at the office of acting SBU chief Oleksandr Poklad, who was not present at the time of the attack, per Ukrainian media. The president ordered Poklad to prepare a "mirror" response to Russia. Two upper floors of the building caught fire, and ambulances arrived to collect the wounded, a DW correspondent reported. Russia has not publicly commented on the strike.
