A Russian drone strike on Kyiv on September 3 hit a nine-story residential building in the Holosiivskyi district, sparking a fire and causing destruction on the upper floors. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that 15 people were evacuated, while Ukraine's State Emergency Service later confirmed 25 people were brought to safety. The fire, which broke out on the 8th and 9th floors, was extinguished over an area of 50 square meters. The attack is part of intensified Russian strikes on the capital in recent days. Drone debris also fell in the Sviatoshynskyi district, and reports emerged of a strike on the left bank near the "Slavutych" residential complex.
