Russian drone strikes kill three in Chuhuiv, injure others in Zaporizhzhia
On the evening of September 5, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using Shahed drones and guided aerial bombs, resulting in deaths and injuries in multiple regions. Air raid alerts were declared across eastern and southern Ukraine. In Chuhuev, Kharkiv Oblast, three people were killed: a 19-year-old woman, an 11-year-old boy, and a 45-year-old man. A 40-year-old woman was injured. In Zaporizhzhia, a woman was wounded by shrapnel, and three people were reported injured after strikes on residential buildings. The attack involved multiple waves of drones and KABs targeting Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Odesa, and other regions. Ukrainian Air Force reported Shahed drones flying from the Black Sea and various directions, with strikes causing fires and damage to residential and administrative buildings.
