Witkoff and Kushner arrived in Moscow on Saturday, visiting the Kremlin after a working lunch with Putin's special envoy Kirill Dmitriev. On Sunday, the American negotiators are expected in Kyiv. Earlier on September 5, the Kremlin announced Putin had ordered a three-day halt to strikes on Kyiv from midnight, and President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed readiness to observe a pause in aerial attacks on cities involved in the negotiation process.
