Russian envoy Dmitriev to host U.S. envoys Witkoff and Kushner in Moscow
Russian presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev will meet U.S. special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner upon their arrival in Moscow on Saturday, according to two sources familiar with the visit. Dmitriev, who participated in all previous meetings with President Vladimir Putin and helped negotiate U.S. sanction waivers for Russian oil, will host the envoys. President Donald Trump suggested Friday the U.S. has a fresh concrete proposal to end the war, without elaborating. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the envoys will fly to Ukraine on Sunday, and reported Russian strikes on two Ukrainian airports ahead of their visit. The Kremlin reiterated its "unshakeable" demand that Ukraine cede four regions and abandon NATO membership, while both sides have intensified long-range attacks.
