Russian Agent May Have Guided Shahed Strike on SBU Building in Kyiv

A Russian agent may have guided a Shahed drone strike on a Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) building using an online control scheme, according to Ukrainian presidential advisor Serhiy Beskrestnov, as reported by RBC-Ukraine. Beskrestnov stated the drone was likely controlled in real-time via a radio repeater hidden near the attack site. The device, roughly half the size of a school backpack, was activated briefly during the strike, with the agent operating from up to 5 kilometers away. The attack marks a serious escalation, prompting the SBU to promise a painful response. Meanwhile, sources report Russia is preparing four massive combined missile and drone attacks on energy facilities and warehouses in western Ukraine this September.
