US envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are set to visit Moscow and Kyiv, with the Kremlin anticipating US demands regarding a halt to Ukrainian attacks amid stalled negotiations. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Washington may request Kyiv cease what he called "terrorist activity," while doubting any bilateral understanding on a ceasefire. A TASS source reported the envoys will visit Moscow first, then Kyiv, on September 5-6.
