Three dead in Russian strikes on Ukraine as US envoys prepare peace talks

Russian overnight attacks killed at least three people in Ukraine, including two police officers in Dnipro and one person in the Odesa region, as US envoys prepare to visit Kyiv for renewed peace talks. President Volodymyr Zelensky said preliminary dates for meetings in Moscow and Kyiv have been set, with US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner reportedly expected in Kyiv on Sept. 5-6, though unconfirmed. The attacks also damaged residential buildings and injured others, while Ukraine struck an oil depot in Sochi, Russia.
