Ukrainian strike on Sochi hits air defense unit and oil depot

On the night of September 4, Ukrainian defense forces struck a Russian military facility near Sochi, causing a large fire after a series of explosions, according to Russian independent outlet ASTRA. OSINT analysts suggest the target may have been a Russian S-300 or S-400 air defense system, though the exact damage is unconfirmed. A separate fire also broke out at an oil depot in the area, with residents reporting a massive column of flames.
