Putin envoy Dmitriev to host Witkoff and Kushner in Moscow

Russian presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev will meet U.S. special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner upon their arrival in Moscow on Saturday, two sources familiar with the visit told Reuters. Dmitriev, who participated in all previous meetings with President Vladimir Putin and helped negotiate U.S. sanction waivers for Russian oil this year, remains a key contact. U.S. President Donald Trump suggested Friday he has a fresh concrete proposal to end the war, without elaborating. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the envoys will fly to Ukraine on Sunday, and reported Russian strikes on two Ukrainian airports ahead of their visit. A vast gulf remains between the sides, with Russia demanding Ukraine cede four regions and abandon NATO plans.
