Zelensky hears SBU report on Ukraine's response strikes to Russian attacks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on September 4 that he had heard a report from Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) head Oleksandr Poklad on preparing active Ukrainian responses to Russian strikes, stating the geography of the response has been determined. Zelensky said the timing will be chosen to ensure results, while photos from the meeting showed a painting of a burning Kremlin in Moscow behind the officials. This follows a Russian drone strike on the SBU central building in Kyiv opposite St. Sophia's Cathedral, which targeted Poklad's office while he was absent. The attack was part of the ninth day of continuous Russian drone assaults on the capital, causing five injuries, damage to a building near the cathedral, and a fire at an industrial site in Brovary that temporarily worsened air quality.
