Russian attacks on Ukraine overnight killed four people near Dnipro, Ukrainian authorities reported Saturday. Five others were injured, one critically, according to regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha. Earlier in the night, strikes hit the Kyiv region, damaging a nine-story residential building in Boryspil, about 35 kilometers from the capital. Two people were injured there, said regional military chief Timur Tkatjenko. The attacks came despite President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's appeal for Russia to refrain from strikes during a weekend visit by U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. An explosion was also heard in central Kyiv on Friday evening.
