US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have left the Kremlin after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Russian state media reports. The meeting lasted over two and a half hours, with the RIA Novosti agency reporting it extended beyond three hours. Putin stated Russia had not attacked Kyiv since midnight on September 5, but denied agreeing to a broader three-day ceasefire. Putin said Moscow is comfortable working with Witkoff and Kushner, calling such contacts beneficial. Witkoff described the conversation as one of the finest and most memorable moments of his life.
