Russian drones strike passenger train in Kherson region, injuring two

Russian drones attacked a passenger train heading to Kherson in the Kherson region, injuring two people and damaging locomotives, according to Ukrainian officials. The attack occurred in Chornobayivka, and 21 passengers and the train crew were evacuated. The regional military administration head said one injured person was a 55-year-old railway worker hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, contusion, and a closed head injury. Police confirmed two people were wounded, and the attack damaged two diesel locomotives. Russian forces have recently intensified drone and missile strikes on Ukrainian railway infrastructure, with similar incidents reported in Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
